Is that the one where you have cereal for breakfast and lunch then a meal in the evening?
I'm thinking of trying that, love cereal so think it will be easy to stick to!
The Special K service provides nutritionally balanced controlled meal plans that are advocated as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Just a quick update for Evian; I've been kind of doing the 2 bowls 2 meals thing since Saturday and am truly miserable! I've been starving every day until dinner time although that might be because I'm not snacking rather than the fact I've just been eating cereal!
I was putting off weighing myself until tomorrow when I would have been doing it for a week and was going to decide whether to proceed from there. But today the thought of cereal for lunch AGAIN made me want to weep so I had tuna salad with two ryvita and it was lovely, it was my plan on the third week to swap the lunch time cereal for a salad anyway but I'm still hungry!

Hi Sophie, just happened to log on as you answered.

I think that's a different one to the one I was going to do, think I'd really struggle with that too. The one I'm thinking of does involve eating cereal but it also gives you entire daily menus with proper lunch and dinners and includes snacks like cereal bars, crisps and yogs. It definitely looks more appetising than just eating cereal every day. Well done for doing the week, I'd have struggled.
Ah ok; yeah that one's probably better! I'm still waiting until tomorrow to weigh myself as I don't have a set of scales so will do it when I go to mums; but don't think I'll be able to stick to it even if I've lost loads!
If it keeps you to a calorie intake level that is below that needed to maintain your weight, then it will work for weight loss. I know folk who have lost on it. Personally I think it doesn't teach you good eating habits so should be for short term only. And as Sophie points out, if it doesn't fill you up which will be the case until your stomach shrinks from anticipating less food, then you feel hungry and have trying to avoid eating on your mind all day. I think like many things, you can try it and see if it suits you, but I'd not recommend it as a long term activity.

Getting scales was the mistake I made. I way myself most days which can be really misleading. I've been half heatedly doing the plan but there's some really nice stuff in there and I've not felt hungry, especially when I have things like the chicken wraps.

Have a look at it here, it might be more desirable. http://myspecialk.co.uk/AboutPlans/

Good luck in the scales tomorrow!

Weigh, not way.

You're right OG, it's just a matter of being sensible really. But I like the way this gives you really easy to follow food plans every day so you don't have to think about it too much.
Yeah was definitely not looking at it as a long term solution OG! Was hoping it would get me used to eating less but it just hasn't yet; wonder how long that would take?
I really don't want scales as I would become obsessed and depressed I think! MrS says he's going to buy some but am hoping he doesn't get round to it!
Ta evian, will have a look. One of the problems I have is that MrS often doesn't finish work until between half 7 and 8; I like to eat dinner with him but I'm so hungry when I get in at about 6 I'll have a little snack and then eat the same amount for dinner with him!
