Putting this in CB because that's where yesterday's post went.

Today's semi-final sees Chelsea take on Crystal Palace for the right to face Liverpool in the final. While Chelsea will no doubt be feeling the effects of their European adventure, i do believe that they will still prove too strong for a much improved Palace side.

If all goes according to plan (my plan, that is) Chelsea will take the lead toward the end of the first half. Palace will come out all guns firing in the 2nd half, hoping to level the tie, and Chelsea will hit them on the counter, scoring their 2nd goal around the 75-80 minute mark. They will then frustrate the Palace side and see out the match as 2-0 winners.

Sadly now Football is becoming predictable.The same two teams contesting both finals.It’s a shame that other than Crystal Palace,who thanks to Chelsea’s stance couldn’t play one of their stars,were the only mid ranking club to have a genuine “go” at the F A Cup.

That's what normally happens with loanees, grumpy. And, let's face it, Palace were helped by favourable draws throughout the comp;

Millwall away
Hartlepool home
Stoke home
Everton home
Trouble is we are now subjected to the irritating Klopp more than ever.Also your club have shot themselves in the foot or did Sean Dyche talk himself out of a job.

Have to agree with you, grumpy. Klopp certainly knows where the camera is.
As for Sean Dyche? The decision to sack him has to go down as one of the most asinine decisions ever taken by a football club chairman. If there has been a falling out between Sean and Pace, i would have expected the rumour mill to have begun (it hasn't) and i would not have expected the entire backroom staff to be sacked. You coud have understood it had there been demos from the fans - there have
been none! Perhaps it would make sense had a new, brilliant manager been waiting in the wings to take over instantly; there isn't one. There appears to be no logic whatsoever behind the sacking.
Like the majority of Burnley fans, i am both baffled and gutted. Burnley football club will miss Sean Dyche much more than he will ever miss us. That's a nailed on-certainty.
I am sure what you say is correct and across the summer Sean Dyche will be re-employed somewhere.To talk of bringing in Sam Allardyce,as I have read is possible,would be only a short term measure.If Burnley are relegated then I assume they would look for an Eddie Howe type of young manager to get them back up.
