chinese currency
i am going to china in 3 weeks, can anyone advise me as to the best way to go about getting money? US dollars? travellers cheques? get it when im there?

I spent a month in China, and withdrew all money out of ATM's when I was there. I didn't take travellers cheques or US dollars or anything like that.
Be aware that there are a lot of ATM's, but about half can only be used if you have a Chinese bank account.
That said, I never had a problem getting hold of money from ATM's. There was always enough 'international' ATM's.
