Just come home from a stay in a private hospital and an op in a private hospital and it's been a great two days. We are not rich, but we've had no holidays or any kind of breaks for three years. Money well spent. Lovely staff, looked after like Queen and amazing staff. And wonderful medical treatment. Food was amazing.A beautiful room with a view across the fields. Quite sorry to come home! No more expensive than some people pay for a a stay in a spa.

I feel more relaxed than I have in years!

Have decided to go there for my next more serious operation.

I love hugs Pasta.

And how are you getting on Smow?

Goodnight Pat, hope you manage to get some sleep,x
shame you had to interrupt your holiday for an op!

I had an op in a private hospital a few years back. It was on the NHS but they were just renting private rooms, so I got a big room of my own and all the perks. Very pleasant.

Good morning jno
Hope you and partner are ok. X

I am okay, partner much less so at the moment, pat. The treatment is giving more problems than the illness but hopefully this can be adjusted. But the sun is shining and the temperature in two figures, so we're looking forward to better times. Hope the same is true of you both.
A friend had a minor procedure under local anaesthetic at a private hospital, funded by the NHS. On arrival, she was given tea served with a teapot and china cups. When the staff realised that she was with the NHS, she said the next time tea was served in a plastic cup.
Nice to see you back pat, if one has to be ill, then be ill in comfort and go private if you can afford it.
Glad it all went well for you Pat.
We had private medical care as part of OHs job. One of our sons needed a minor op when he was about 7. On the form to tick which newspaper he required he wrote The Beano, and asked for Marmite toast for breakfast.
The Beano was duly delivered, much to our surprise, and we found out later someone nipped to the shops for a jar of marmite for him. He was very impressed.
