I wonder how many of you have tried Wordle today, I'm not an every day Wordle'r and today is perhaps my first attempt since the Yanks bought it. Not impressed!!!

Try Wordmaster
No different and it's not the first time it has used an American spelling. I got it in three :D
I play Word Master, too, and that also has American spellings occasionallly.

Thanks danny, didn't know about Wordmaster and you don't have to wait for the next word.
Got it on the fourth try barry, but only because there wasn't an ENGLISH word that would fit the pattern I had.
They do need to give language options, it shouldn't be difficult but US spellings are given as variants in a lot of English dictionaries such as my 1986 hardback edition of Collin's.
I didn't think about American spellings initially,consequently after 5 attempts decided that was the only word it could be. The only time it's taken me 6!
Got it in 3 but wouldn't have had i not read this post first.
It has always had American spelling even before it was sold. It was developed by a coder living in the States.
Got today's on the 4th line. Not a common word in itself - more usually a prefix.
The winning streaks issue has been fixed.
Why do the English always seem to assume that *everything* should have English spellings?
It was developed by a young man in Brooklyn for him to play with his partner. So...the yanks already had it! ;)

Thank you for the reply's, a few things there that I hadn't realised. I'm now thinking that todays solution might be aimed at me!
I tried it for the first time today, got it in four and raised one eyebrow.
