Boris may face a rebellion or he may not but whatever happens I hope he’s remembered for the good he’s done and not for the mistakes he’s made , the very thought of having someone like KS running the country makes my blood run cold and by the way , I’m not writing Boris’s obituary here, I don’t have a crystal ball but it’s fast becoming a witch hunt , what next tarred & feathered ? Stocks in Parliament Square ?

Not News so I’ll put it here

As soon as you think about May's fake attempts at Brexit, you realise Boris is ok.

^Hallelujah!
I am not saying there is anything wrong with patriotism .
I am saying that one of the most iconic images is of Boris on the zip wire and if a picture paints a thousand words then this image is what He will be remembered by . I can not think of another famous image of Him
I've got a crystal ball.
//I've got a crystal ball.//

What's the other one made of? LOL

Boris is THE most misunderstood leader in history - ah do declare

the recently appointed - director of thingeys (new) no 10 - proposed by Boris in parliament yesterday explained and clarified - It all stemmed from a little littel slip up:

someone knocked on no 10 and when Boris answered, asked
"Tory Party" and Boris said - "cripes right ! out the back inn the garden!"

ter daaah
// In medicine it is always said, that you will be remembered for your last mistake.//

yeah but no but - NJ and Barmaid will accept 'you are as good as your last case.'

Joll, d.1948 no really, is remembered for snipping someones recurrent laryngeal nerve in his last thyroidectomy. You know the Aber who fell over and cdnt speak? Well this was no-speaky permanente. The patient sued his estate under the new law (*)

Otherwise you go on a fixed date. - as Bob Kelso did in Scrubs - 'otherwise they chuck you out on their date after your last mistake'

Law Reform Married Women and Tortfeasors Act 1934
well 14 y was new then

pixie - // I think everyone can sympathise with them... but I don't see what difference parties would make... unless those people disagreed with lockdowns altogether.
Some may have done and were physically prevented from being with relatives, but there were also a lot of "don't be a granny killer" posts here. The problem is, nobody was allowed to decide for themselves (including granny), because the rules necessarily had to be fast and general.
Nothing would have pleased everyone. //

You could well be right.

But what would have pleased a lot more people was, if the people who actually conceived, implemented, and oversaw the enforcement of the rules, actually thought that it might be a good idea if they obeyed the rules as well.

But they didn't.
I fail to understand why anyone could have anything but contempt for Boris after Partygate.
Didn't Boris get his punishment by catching Covid & being very ill?
consider the alternatives !!
