Can anyone reccomend a green eyeshadow that actually shows up? I bought some at the weekend which looks quite bright in the case thingy but once it's on my eyelid you can hardly see it!

Rimmel do a really good green eyeshadow, it's like two different greens? You can put the darker one on first and then the lighter one just to touch it up. I think it's Rimmel anyway... will get back to you on that one...
Hi there, I'm sure Space NK or House of Fraser would be able to help, their cosmetics dept's are fab!

I have a rimmel one too and it stays on really well and doesnt crease.  its a single eyeshadow and is a apple green colour.

About 2.50

i have a nice green one from "17" that shows up well, not expensive either. or you could try "barry m" pretty outrageous colours

Thanks guys... I'll defo make it my mission to have a hunt around this weekend!

The one I bought was "17"... a round container thing, with two different shades, a kinda kakhi colour & then a  more vibrant one... but neither show up :-(

hiya, yeh I have a revlon eyeglide which is like a shimmery creamy eyeshadow which i usually put on my lid first then i put just the rimmel green on over it. it stays on really well the way I do it and shows us nicely! :) The rimmel one I am talking about is just on its own and the colour is called 084 saucy mint :)

Oooooh, what a clever idea jen012!  I hadn't thought of putting a lighter shade on first as a base! :-) x

Benefits "Gone Fishing" over Benefit LemonAid is great.

Or anything by Mac over a base

hi have you tried to put foundation on the lids first followed by a light dusting of powder, then apply the eyeshadow.  By doing this you prime thi lid for longer lasting colour, and colour that shows up more intensely.  MAC has great shades of green that seem to last forever, and come in many shades and tints.

good luck

to tell you the gods honest truth (for bright colours) your prob better off getting a really cheap eyeshadow OR you could try H&M they do a fab range AND there only 1.50 and work!!! and for that price you can buy a few lol im living proof! xxx
georgio armani do some nice ones, theyre about 13 though, but they are amazing
This may be a little late but if your still looking for a green eyeshadow, then i have a couple of suggestions. i have exactly the same problem but i love green eyeshadow. The body shop have a special range of eye shimmers and they are fabulous eyeshadows. the green is a very light, bright, yet pale apple colour and shows up perfectly. It can be applied over eyeliner or a smoky grey/black coloured eyeshadow to create a vibrant green. This costs around 7.50. A bit more expensive is the Christian Dior Double eyeshadow. Being a teenager who loves to wear bright eyeshadows this was perfect for me. It has a turquoise blue eyeshadow and then a lime green eyeshadow. However i bought it mainly for the blue, and then to wear the green at the corners of my eye with the blue. If you wanted another colour this would be perfect as it shows up great and lasts all day. However this is 20 which may be a little too expensive for some people. But i definitely recommend those two eyeshadows if you want bright vibrant green colours. i have had the same problem as you but now my problems are solved :D Hope this helps and isnt too late.
extremely late answer but never mind
invest in a mac paint the make up artists should be able to help you choose a shade
they prevent shadow from creasing and make it stay on longer aswell as helping it show up
