Bbc Quiz: Week 2

A decent enough start for me this week, I think, with FIVE out of seven on the main quiz. (It’s obviously an easy week!)

The kids’ quiz is simple too (as it’s meant to be, of course) but I still couldn’t achieve a maximum score. FOUR out of five for me:

Given that two of the questions from the junior quiz are effectively duplicated in the Timed Teaser this week, it shouldn’t be too difficult to achieve at least a reasonable score in the latter. Despite that, however, I could only manage a ‘barely passable’ FOUR out of ten there:

[NB: The questions load in a different format this week. Instead of seeing a new web page after answering a question, the next one simply loads below the former on the same page, and so on. I nearly didn’t see Question 2 until the timer bar for it had run down!]

Ooh! Some latecomers to catch up with, I see! (More still welcome, of course!).

DTC is one of many people these week to achieve near-perfection in each of the first two quizzes. Well done!

Rowanwitch though is one of only a handful of people who've managed a maximum score in the main quiz so far this year. Very well done!

Ken seems happy with his personal best score in the timed quiz. As it's nearly double what I got, it's clearly very good ;-)
