Alternative Nobel Prize Winners

When you consider people such as Yasser Arafat & Barack Obama have been given prizes, who do you think has brought more improvements & happiness to the well-being of humanity?

I would nominate 1st, the man who invented the indoor flush W.C. (I think his name was Crapper)
Then the man who invented the washing machine (when I think how hard washing was for my mother in the 1950s). Next the electric blanket (joy!) & then the man who invented that wire device for slicing hard-boiled eggs, (a little wonder)
Who would you give a prize to?

I’d call economics a science as opposed to politics or arts but the point being
Lest anyone should think that the Nobel prize wasn’t already about recognising scientific and technical achievement …
