Have loads of them - but I want one that actually tells me what is on the front of the radio like subtitles ie the words Hugo Duncan,


Sean Coyle, Trevor Kelly. At the moment I have to listen so hard where I am on the station - revolving the little wheel.

in all honesty, radio is a "listening to" medium. i dont think they do subtitles even if you listen via a screen

I don't think it's subtitles that JJ is looking for. A couple of our DAB radios give the name of the song/artist as does our internet radio. Our DAB radios happen to be Roberts but I'm sure other makes do too.

Yes, if it's an information screen you want then a DAB or internet radio should have them. We have both and they both have info screens.
(and I thoroughly recommend an internet radio for any radio fans).

JJ - there are thousands of radio stations available on the internet. You can listen to them via a computer but you can also get radios, which probably have better quality sound that laptop speakers, that you connect to your router.

Here's a typical internet radio...20000+ stations from all over the world, all with excellent sound quality. Pricey, but worth it, imo.

ginge - that's one of the ones we have. We have it in the bedroom as it has alarm functions on it.

JJ that's just the basic display of the radio. When you have it tuned to a channel it can display, in words, the artist and track name.
