I never got into Sensible. However kick off was magnificent. Played it for hours and when kick off 2 added swerve to the shots and 2 player co-operative the disk was never out of the Amiga.
We used to laugh at the crowd chanting in the background ... sounded like they were saying ''Parkhurst, Parkhurst'', so we made a team called the Parkhurst 11 and gave them all criminal type names like 'Harry The Fence', Godper ... etc.

It was a fantastic game and I still miss it.
Its without a doubt Sensible world of soccer from about 96/97 then followed by Pro evo 3 on the PS2
ahh sensible soccer - them were the days
used to play it on my snes for hours at a time
I think they both had terribly finicky control systems and even after hours playing found it impossible to keep on the ball.
Kickoff 2 did have terrible controls, very different to anything else around at the time, but the speed and flow of the game were brilliant. Didn't really get into Sensible Soccer again because of the odd controls.
