Not sure which of the categories to put this question so I plumped for Chatterbank.
What size shoe would be best for feet measuring 255 cms long and 235 cms width (that's wrapped around the bunion part of the foot)?
I'm guessing a size 9 but when I've googled it I get sizes between 7.5 and 10.
there wont be a general size that takes the width and length into consideration you need to talk to the company you want to buy the shoe from and ask to see their size guide for example i would have thought a 255mm foot length was a size UK 7 so are you UK or USA a UK 7 is a USA 8 then we talk width yes you can have a F which is quite standard or a G which is wide in the USA the F and G would be D and E
Putting that lot together, a size 7 would be my best bet in your case but you need to remember that there can be some variation in sizes across different brands. I usually take a size 9 but I occasionally find that I need a 10 instead.
Yes this is where it gets confusing for me. I usually take a size 8 1/2 to 9 but this summer I bought some hush puppies and the size 7 fit me perfectly. A week later I bought some Skechers and the size 9 was the best fit.
I think roadman has it right, I'll contact the makers.
