Hi I need help!!! I am translating a Powerpoint fiile from German To english . As this was autghorerd in Germany it always defaults to German dictionary so i cannot spell check it. I have tried chaging the languages in control panel but that only shows english as being used and does not even mention german. That makes me think the language setting is on poerpoint itself. Can any1 help? TIA

In my version of PowerPoint (2003), there is a language option below the slides and just above the Taskbar (similar to in Word). Double-click this to bring up a language list (you may have to select the text on the slide first).

Hope that does the trick!

thanks wideboy. Did already try that though. I had to select text on each slide and set to english. But when spell checked it reverted back to German again !!!!!!
