Alderley Edge is a very prestigious place. That will sell, no problem. There are neighbours just down the road.
People are dying to live there Tills. Footballer country.
Not for me, I would prefer a nicer outlook.
Fields to the front, graves to the back.

That made me laugh Togo. :-)
Would need an awful lot of money spending on it.
Every room is dilapidated.

Serious point. The website that Tigger gave quotes the average house price for Cheshire @about £445k. It is a far higher average in Alderley Edge itself. Good place to live but too far from the coast for my liking.
We've taken on projects far worse than that jno. I have a reliable inspector living with me. Not up to it any more. My days as a builder's labourer are long gone
We virtually restorded completely the house we live in now. Pulled down walls and ceilings, added extension. Dug out floors, changed position of stairs, damproofed, plumbed, electrics. Most of it with our own fair hands. And I was working full time. No wonder I wore out!!!
I actually have distant relatives planted there, as it happens.....we could spend the evenings with them helping me fill gaps in my family tree. :o)
Via a seance?

Been there done that Pat. Do "they" tell you that you are lucky and blessed with a special privelege for your efforts now though?
Either that or they could 'drift in' for a cuppa, Pasta. :o)
it would need a lot of work on, money pit to me plus location aint great, but you could make a bit of cash on side by having ghost watch tours lol.
Togo. Yes, all the time Togo. We weren't lucky, we took a risk and worked so hard. We invested everything we had(which wasn't much)into an undertaking with no help from friends and family. Now we are apparently lucky to live where we do in a really nice house. There were days when I could have cried about living with no loo, no kitchen and two ears without stairs or heating, or when water poured through a new ceiling!!
Two years!!
No. I don’t like the house at all.
I would live there. It looks like fun to decorate and the price is good. And you would get peace and quiet with a graveyard there.
I’d be interested to see what it actually goes for.
