Acyclovir tablets aren’t working, neither is Zovirax. Recurring cold sores on lower back, very very itchy. Would rather have a cream than stronger Acyclovir tablets, help please!

Smurthchops. I don't know about interaction with other drugs, I'm sure you can find out. I just know it's the only thing that's worked for me after many many years of suffering with cold sores.
smurfy, drug interaction.....no big deal.
I get this, too.
More frequently this year for some unknown reason. I've never found out what triggers it.
Only thing to stop the itching is tea tree oil. Put on as soon as tingling starts and it works well.
Try it. What have you got to lose, better than drugs.
I understand that Naseptin is quite good for eliminating cold sores.
Actually, it's more for nasal probs isnt it? Sorry!

Just a thought .. could it be a side effect of the Pfizer vaccine ?
