Hi
I have heard the cerain explosive forces travel the path of most resistance. I would of assumed they would go by the least resistance so how do they do this?

With some explosives, cordite, for example, the more they are compressed, the faster they explode. Cordite on its own simply burns with a an intense bright orange flame, but compress it, as in a rifle cartridge, and note the difference. So the more resistance these explosives come up against, the more effectively they can work on that area.
some explosive's shock waves do travel the path of most resistincs, similar to the "p" waves of an earthquake. there are used to rupture bunkers and underground complexes.
