Knowing you Dusty, I wouldn't be surprised if it were going to be Wombat feet and rats tails in a puree' with cheese.

Somebody mentioned the faff of cooking bacon to put in toasted sandwiches. I agree and (yes, very lazy I know) buy ready-cooked crispy bacon (from Waitrose). Ideal to keep in the fridge for all sorts of things.
