A middling FOUR out of seven for me in the adult quiz this week. (It was one of those weeks when I kept thinking "Blast, I knew that really" when I got an answer wrong):

I couldn't match my maximum score from last week on the Timed Teaser quiz but I still managed SEVEN out of ten. (I swear that countdown timer gets faster every week though!):

So not too bad for me but still with plenty of scope for you lot to thrash me soundly, I think. I'm kinky like that, you know! ;-)
Welcome to the club with your 4 and 3, JJ109, but I see Ken has gone one better than both of us on those two quizzes! (He's gone one better than you on the timed quiz too, I see. Well done on some decent cores, Ken!).
Yes, JJ109 and Ken, that timer bar does go too ruddy fast, doesn't it?
I didnt do the timed teaser quiz because last time I did it, I was timed out on the first 5 questions before I could read the questions and the answers.
As far as the others are concerned, I fail to see how pop music and films are classified as news.
Trying to sneak in late won't help you to hide your low scores from me, 10CS ;-)
Anyway, a middling 3 on the junior quiz isn't too bad. (It's all I could manage, after all!).
The reason why so many pop and movie questions get into the quizzes might, I think, have something to do with the setters preferring not to mention all of the horrific things that actually make the real news headlines ;-)
