I have an appointment for Saturday , but GP said I can only have half of the Moderna one.
Had Astra Zeneca for the first 2, but they're obviously not giving that one, don't know why.
Just wondered if anyone has had the Moderna and if you were ok after?

I could only have what my GP tells me to have because I have had Anaphylaxis.
My day of sleeping after the jab was followed by a morning of sleeping today. And I fear I might still be comatose.

Me to OH 'you said you would make me a cuppa.

OH. 'which is what I did, if you look'

ME. 'its not on the table'

OH. 'whats that in your hand???'

Me. Oh dear!! (Cup of tea in left hand)
I had Pfizer & my husband had A-Z for our first jabs, had Moderna boosters a week ago, no after-effects except for a slightly sore arm.
Did anyone have the flu vaccination at the same time as the booster ?
Flu clinics and booster clincs are separate - I haven`t seen them combined.
I think I received communication re both vaccinations given at the same time .I’ll check later .
I won't have the booster, I think- and probably won't be invited anyway. I was allergic to the AZ.
Barsel, please just make sure you take epipen, maybe an anti-histamine before you go. And tell them, they will keep an eye on you afterwards, and get you to stay for a while after.
Husband did Anne, but not me. Both jabs were cffered. I are fixed the falua jabs because I reacted very badly from it in 2019 and had a dreadful reaction to what they think was Sqalene, the ajucant in the overv65 Jab. I am not allowed the jab for under 65s because it's not licenced for older people??!!
anne, one of the things I was asked when I had the booster was if I'd had any other inoculations in the last seven days, so it may make some difference. I said I hadn't, and only remembered later that my flu jab had been only five days earlier, not eight as I'd been thinking. It was too late to tell anyone, but it might be worth asking in advance.
I had the booster - no after effects but then again I haven`t had after effects from a jab since I was about 19. My first thyroid one hurt my arm so much it seized up and I could barely drive the car to work the next morning. Boosters are Pfizer or Moderna.
I are fixed the falua jabs =. I refused the flu jab!!
pixie, they kept us for 15 minutes after the booster jab anyway, just to be sure. This was Pfizer, the same may not apply to other brands.
My son is due flu jab and second booster, and has been advised to leave 2 weeks in between. I don't know if it's the same with the booster though. Ours are all separate here.
I think they did after Pfizer, anyway, jno. Not after AZ though. Although, they did with me for the second one.
My friend had his booster in one arm and flu in the other.
how is it a booster if they give you a different vaccine
One of the triage questions is if someone has had the shingles jab within 7 days - that's the one they are mainly concerned about
thanks, 237SJ. The question I was asked didn't specify any particular vaccination but that must have been what they had in mind.
///I are fixed the falua jabs =. I refused the flu jab///
