See how the pilot scheme goes. If it cuts down on waste, why not?

I've not been in a 'proper' huge supermarket in about 15 years. I just use local/in the city centre. I'm not sure I'd cope with the big ones now.
The Tesco in my town is vast, more like a warehouse. I avoid it like the plague !
I just applied for a job at M&S. Didn't actually say they wanted a degree. Seemed to prefer flexible people. That's me out.
we get our delivered from either asda or tesco and switch between either when they have sales or what im looking for it out of stock in one or the other, and get some stuff from waitrose as its less then 10 min from where i live, so i have a walk around.
When did the fashion for adding an s and/or apostrophe to supermarket names start?
Not Tesco down here in Truro - it is awful - it's old, the food and related items are all around the outside or back of the store, the central area given over to electronics, clothes and stationery - the shelves for food only allow minimal stock levels, so there are often bare shelves and not of Brexit making...and its car park is crammed in what with sharing for the main town. Having said this, the Tesco Express near the Event Square in Falmouth is not bad - and well-stocked for what is only a wee local store.
seems like only yesterday, douglas

If I have to go into Tesco instead of getting a Click and Collect, they have mobility scooters with baskets on the front which I use as my knees wouldn't get me round otherwise.
Don't know whether the other stores have them.
Asda and Morrisons do.
Do they Mamya, I might try Morrisons sometime I've heard it's quite good.
Well they do here, was with a friend when she demolished a whole display driving one.
F1 carts is what I call them - sounds like your friend is a 'Max Verstoppem', Mamya. My M-i-L did the same in the States, taking out a large pyramid of wine glasses!
Definitely Morrison’s for me with the occasional top up treats from M&S.
You have to ask security for a key to the scooters and he always says,
'No speeding!'
The problem is they don't do emergency stops, you have to remember to apply the brake lever just before you reach your target.
// lidl bakery is very good though //

Lidl doesn’t even have a bakery.
Though the products will be brought in part baked some do have what is termed an instore bakery.
