market forces once more! Lots of jobs but many poorly paid, = can't be arised = more money offered = repeat until the aforementioned pay is enough to get someone off their April to do it! Gawd elp us, it ain't rocket!
Yes. We have both shortages and unemployed people.

The demise of further education, starved of funding, has meant training for certain skilled and semi-skilled jobs doesn't exist. The focus on degree-level qualifications has been detrimental in some areas.

UC housing costs don't always cover the rent paid to a private landlord and they're not usually paid if living with a landlord who is a close relative.
I'd be happier if it was called Planetary Credit rather than advertising freebies to any passing space traveller.
