I noticed that at the end they shuffled Max Headroom in ... who, in his usual predictable boring drone, said that Boris was reckless, putting us all at risk of an agonising death, jeopardising World peace, dooming the economy to years of capitalism, and failing to promise "self isolators" a Million quid a week for as long as it takes. It wasn't quite as...

Easy for me to choose. No mask in England. Mask in Wales. Earplugs in Scotland. Blindfold in Ireland. :))
I will do my best for others as far as possible. But with a couple of provisos:

1. What I'm doing has to be effective. There is scant evidence that wearing face coverings has any significant effect on the spread of the Covid virus. I pointed out and quoted the WHO view on this topic in a thread yesterday. It can best be described as indifferent.

2. What I'm doing must not harm me. This is something the WHO does take a view on and it warns that the use of face coverings by untrained and undisciplined people (i.e. the vast majority of us) runs the risk of self-contamination.

So, for the past year we've been ordered to do something that isn't particularly beneficial and which has the potential to be quite harmful. It doesn't bother me too much because I've scarcely worn one throughout (mainly because of point 2) but I shall be glad to see the back of the ridiculous charade.
I'm doing a countdown to "Bin the mask day".
If Boris abolishes the mask , what will happen to the members of his Cronie Club that he has awarded lucrative contracts at the expense of the tax payer to produce these masks.?
There is no ‘if’.
