If i had a long column of weights for eg: 60 Kg
35 Kg
75 Kg
59 Kg and so on. is
there any way of making the cells only show the number, so
i could copy and past the numbers to Access into data bank
where the Kg is not required.

Using the text to columns wizard (found under the data tab in excel) you can split text - which 35kg will be treated as.

You may need to play around with it to get it to work.

Of course - unless it is a very very long column it would have been quicker to just tab down deleting the kg!!!
You could try highlighting the column, select Replace which is under the edit tab and type in kg under Find What. where it asks what do you want to replace it with leave it blank and click select all. That ought to remove all the kg's from your list.

Hope this helps
That works very well Yorky Lass and probably a lot easier in this case than the text to column method!

I must remember that.
