Talk about pessimism and doom and gloom. She didn't seem to accept that the vaccine is keeping infections and deaths low. She was giving the impression that we should stay in lock down for the foreseeable. If I didn't know any better I would suspect she is wanting to protect those in the asian community who are refusing the vaccine.

OK moron until refuted then - - end of
Well said Kathyan, I know a few people who refuse to have the vaccine and there is NO WAY I would make society unbearable for these people. TTT is the biggest moron I know - END OF !!!
Thank you Shirley. I'm sick of being called names simply because I refuse to take this vaccine!
Nobody as far as I can see is blaming solely Asians. The question was asked why the race of the doctor in question was mentioned. I provided a reply.

Yes, far and away the greatest numbers of those with "vaccine hesitancy" (as the ONS quaintly puts it) are Black. Personally I don't give a toss who they are or what race they are. So long as their "hesitancy" does not prevent the long overdue lifting of restrictions I care not at all.
"Why wasn't more done to inform us of the dangers of refusing vaccination"

You know it's coming, just before the big compo payouts.
I didn't see the interview but it is probably Dr Zubaida Haque. The BBC have been using her often recently. She is a member of Independent Sage which seems to be plug full of left wing activists (https://order-order.com/2020/05/04/not-independent-activist-stuffed-shadow-sage/). The BBC last week, were required to announce her as an activist. Perhaps they are ignoring this again
