George Clooney gave 14 close friends cheques for 1 million dollars each, those who had helped him when he first started out in the movie business, i thought that was a lovely gesture.
I'd give a nice lump sum to the charity I got Toby from. The lady who runs it can't keep up with all the poorly strays, and she keeps them in pens in her back garden before getting them to fostered. Small charities need all the help they can get.
No, I would tell nobody. Stay in the same house, make sure we had enough never to worry, go privately to doctors and hospitals, give some to my son and his wife and the rest to charity. And probably buy a new vehicle that would better suit our needs. Noone except close family need ever know. If I was younger I would use it to set up an animal rescue centre and spend most of my time working there.
