No doom and gloom for a change! Tell us anything! I managed to plant a load of garden bulbs - hopefully not too early. Can’t wait for the burst of colour when they finally come thru. Oh and I managed to speak to teen Smow who was on his break at work - was lovely to hear his voice.

Awww your grandson must be well proud of himself.
Made a breakthrough this afternoon on the Covid research I oversee thanks to a superlative team and a Ion Torrent Genexus Integrated Sequencer.

Another overnight stay in the facility ahead of me by the look of it checking it out.

Excellent news Prof.
First lorry with goodies from UK arrived since brexit and granddaughters birthday gifts arrived. Ordered since Dec 22. No duty to pay
Hopefully at the final whistle - around 7.50 (ish) pm. A win would be great for the 3 points. A defeat drags us nearer the relegation spots. A 2-2draw would get me £126. Believe it or not, i prefer the 3 points!!
Had my covid vaccine this afternoon I was only In 2 minutes and didn't have to wait 15 minutes.

All great news still!!
Dave and I put together our bike shed today with just one little, easily sorted piece, in the wrong place...not bad when you're following pictures...and one little cut to Dave's finger which was not my fault, honestly...I blame the screwdriver! Why do men wander about, looking pathetic and holding up their injured parts for all to see?

Wine on the patio now before we move the bikes in....another sunny and glorious day here in the wild west.... :-)
theprof (& others) - nice one :-)

For me - raining all day but it held off just enough so that my Tesco delivery wasn't completely soaked. A small thing, but it pleased me.
Prof, never stop posting that kind of stuff.
Small things often please, LiK....as Dave will tell you... ;-)
Slows the blood loss. Besides men feel pain much worse than women.
My good news is - chicken burgers for dinner :0)

Oh yeah, and we booked the garden in for fake grass. Can't wait for no more muddy paw prints. Unless the sod digs the borders.

Is it expensive Rocky??
Yes, just over £4000 for 75 square metres.

We'll have the fatboy for at least another 7 years (hopefully), so it should end up cost effective.
My daughter’s little rescued dog from Croatia with two 2 bullets close to her heart removed successfully
i was scratching my head for a moment there Zy!
I sold a drawing this morning.
Good news... good news... no can't recall such a thing.

Maybe the neighbour's cat didn't manage to dig up all my veg and mess everywhere in the raised bed. There were some apparently untouched spots if one looked carefully.
My bathroom is all finished just a bit of 'snagging' to do , yippee
