Me and my girlfriend are starting out round the world trip in Bangkok. We will be there for a week can anyone reccomend somewhere cheap but clean with our own bathroom to stay in while we are there?

or go to the 'khao San Road' in BKK... plenty of cheaper accomodation...

Yes, I went to khao san road when i was in bangkok, you don't even need to book ahead and you will find all the bars, travel agents and restaurants on your doorstep - enjoy your trip!

just steer clear of the patpong area unless pimps and ho's are your thing!
