I know not everyone gets this symptom.

But those that do...how soon does the lack of taste/ smell occur?

From what I gather, it varies from being the presenting and only part of Covid to anytime in it Infectious stage.
Any respiratory virus can produce symptoms of loss and taste and more annoyingly they may persist for months, or 3venbe permanent.

My daughter got it day 4 and 5, but as sqad says... I'm sure it varies.
Thanks eve, but hardly succinct.
In the evenings, I find that my memory is so temperamental that I can start to type a sentence and mid way through, forget what i was going to type lol.
Age or early dementia? Lol

Teen smow has lost complete sense of smell, and also taste but literally just spoke to him on the phone and he says taste is just starting to come back. He is on day 8 since positive test.
