I'm making turkey kofta to be served with naan breads, salad and pickles.

What is everyone else cooking? I really want some inspiration for the OH who always replies, when I ask him what he wants for dinner, "something different".

I’m the same, but the soup Baz mentioned sounded worth a go.
I got chicken pasta from my favourite bakery about 3 weeks ago and it was absolutely gorgeous. They never got it in again. Why do they discontinue something really nice I'll never know.

There is no specific recepie .

The following is from Er indoors -

Half cook the meat or chicken or mutton chops in pot with water
with mixed herbs or thyme , salt , onions / skallion / all purpose seasoning

Add the carrots/ potatoes /dumplings /pumpkin , later

If you're using chicken , you can add chicken noodles , near the end .


Just tucking into a big bowl of said soup now

Very disappointed with the fish and chips ,the batter was soggy and chips were overdone,
Will have to try somewhere else next time , bleughhh
Evening,
Just cooked for me and my wife as follows : Ribeye steak (not too large), gammon steak ( for 2) mushrooms in butter and black pepper and 1/2 jacket "spud", finally some black pepper sauce to go with it all. Delish !!

I ended up having half a sausage bap and I aint a lover of sausages but it filled the hole.

I have a roast on right now - it should be done - that's for tomorrow's din din.
I know Bobbi - I find when you get a good chippy - next time order not good.
Tonight we had, chicken breast marinaded in marmalade, balasamic, runny honey, Dijon mustard and olive oil. Salt and pepper.
Halved new potatoes, sliced red onion, diced parsnips, chopped onions, orange slices, all coated with half marinade, roasted for 25 mins. Then add chicken breasts to dish. Roast for 40 minutes. Then add some green beans coated in olive oil for final 10 minutes.
It was delicious.
