How many series of 'Lost' have been made so far,how many are planned and which one are we on??!! Just wondering how many more hours of my life I'll need to spend on it.....!!!

We are on Season 2 in the UK. About 4 more episodes to go. Season 3 starts in the USA next month and will probably hit the UK screens early next year.

This programme will NEVER be resolved because one of two things will happen:

1. The show will keep being recommissioned and they will keep stringing you along indefinitely.
2. The show will get cancelled and will end abruptly mid-series.

There was an interview with the creator/writer the other day on TV, he says that it is planned for another 6 YEARS!!!!!! yes SIX!!!!! and even then it will not finish, as he doesnt want it to finish because the story is not about what is going on? how did they get there? Where are they? are they all dead? etc etc but about human interaction to certain situations and what we would do. If youi notice that when they solve a problem they release two more problems, never ending!!! i loved the first series, but haveny watched any of the second as it is pointless.
