My daughter tells me that "Hotel California" by the Eagles refers to the Betty Ford Clinic.Can anyone confirm this.?

the Eagles themselves said the song was concerned with materialism and excess, whilst California was the setting, it could relate to anywhere in the US.
You could interpret that to mean somewhere like the Betty Ford clinic, but there's no evidence that was the intended target.
