Be glad ummmm. Luckily I've never been fat, but when I made up my mind that enough is enough of binging on rubbish, I was borderline overweight. Now, half a stone up and I get quite uncomfortable. So I nip it in the bud. ;)
Not very often, jj. I don't really miss them...though I do crave sweet potatoes sometimes. Given the choice, I'd rather have a square or 2 of very dark chocolate than a potato.
No...I always marinate things or make a sauce. Tonight I made pan fried chicken livers with caramelized shallots and a bit of cream. Sometimes I add crispy bacon, or garlic mushrooms, or roast tomatoes. Tonight I added a small slice of black pudding.
Sometimes I'll have a veggie meal, or I'll stuff giant mushrooms with sausage meat and cheese.
I often just have meat and nothing else , rarely eat carbs.
The problem I have just now is my stomach is rejecting meat so swapping to vegetarian alternatives
