Imagine if you have to answer six questions correctly on any chosen subject. What would you choose as your specialist subject?

A friend of mine got to the final a few years ago. His expert subject was Tom Lehrer, so the Beeb flew him to Boston to make a short piece about the humorist.

we didnt get on the old baggaz univ challenge - but the probation officers did
and I think the cons did a song and dance routine to support them

I have no specialism, unless you include walking into things.
When we used to go and watch Mastermind being recorded in the old Granada building we were amazed when after the specialist round the contestants had to stay in their seats whilst a really naff 'comedian' came on the entertain the audience as there were various technical things being done,

LOL Mamya. You could name the last six things you walked into, whilst not walking into big black chair!
We certainly felt very sorry for the contestants, as if being on Mastermind isn;t nerve-wracking enough. It was Ted Robbins, just remembered, they also came round and gave us all a Kit Kat! We were very disappointed with the set, the lighting effects must be added later, it was very shabby with a staple gun being used to hold bits together.

About 20 years ago I would have definitely said "The Titanic" since for quite a while I read everything I came across regarding the subject. I even knew the first names of all the 300 lobsters who were on-board and were joyously excited when it sank...Well, I guess that's a slight exaggeration.
English Literature. British History. Theology.
General knowledge. It served me particularly well on a quiz show some years ago.
