Last Easter there was a great political conspiracy drama on the BBC called State of Play. It was such a huge success that they commissioned a second series straight away (according to the news) but I never heard it mentioned again. Does anyone know where it got to?

Is this the one-off where the chap from Dalziel and Pascoe (sorry forgot actor's name) played a "remarkably similar to John Prescott" role?

No, that was the Deputy, and was earlier this year. State of Play centred around a group of journalists and an MP and starred John Simm, David Morrisey the girl from Trainspotting (always forget her name!) and Bill Nighy. It was SO good! Thanks, headlesspets, for your answer!
Kelly Macdonald i am guessing? (wonky nose, gorgeous body)
