But Sir Keir Starmer is beginning, to my mind at least, to come across as cardboard, anodyne, unremarkable, everyday and dull.

He's a lawyer. They are experts at dissecting issues in the comfort of agreeable chambers, six months after the event and then, three months later, suggesting to a police officer that he took the wrong decision when he Tasered a lunatic who was coming at him with a machete. Ask them whether they want tea or coffee and they have to scour Archbold's for some case...

I don't think so either. At the moment Sunak looks like the only Tory with a plan and the readiness to carry it out; the rest are beset by ignorance or incompetence or both.

I know some people suggest Raab, and I can only think "You mean the Raab who was Brexit secretary and then was amazed to find out there was cross-Channel trade?"
//Bazile: Sorry if you're struggling with the concept of objectivity. Just giving my views with no political axe to grind. Maybe you might give it a try someday.//

I'm not struggling with anything .

Your heading was clearly making a political point , whether or not you have a axe to grind

He is an ex-Marxist trying now to be the middle of the road, what Labour need is a REAL Labour leader. Similarly, Johnson is also trying to move his party to the middle ground, & what is needed is a REAL Conservative Party leader, - everyone is trying to please too many people, that is why politics is in such a dreadful mess.

If anyone knows what Starmer & Johnson actually stand for, I would be pleased to hear it.
Labour have no chance at the next GE with him in charge, bore, bore, bore ........ he just drones on and on, I bet he's great to have a pint with .... NOT!
