Just dull and wet, got lamps on but a good feeling, housework and ironing finished , everything sparkling ....and no washing to do in the laundry basket either

4inches of snow, and a thunder snowstorm at 4am, people phoning the police and fire service because they thought it was some sort of explosions...

Arh I'd heard Scotland were getting it bad Emmie,it normally hits us from there, its snowing on high ground here , places like Stanley and Consett in Co Durham but Newcastle tends to dip in on the map and it often misses us and goes to the Vale of York

they are snowed in apparently, waiting for the gritters, not sure if she can get out today for the papers

Still snowing here in West Yorkshire about two inches thick at the moment, It started about 2am I think. Didn't notice until I went to bathroom and saw all white through the frosted window.
