GP rang me. Asked loads of questions.
I was honest with him.
He prescribed Mirtazipan.
So far they seem to help.
Make me a bit foggy.
Went to bed yesterday afternoon I think.
Just got up half an hour ago.
I hope this drug is the answer and I get back to normal soon.
Thank you everybody for your messages of support.
I really appreciate them. X
We did the lockdown but never did the tests. They are still here :-(
Still don't need them now.
I don't go out and no plans to do so.
Family doing the shopping.
Breathing OK today, SATS 91.
I don't know if you'll see this theland... but if you aren't already, it may be worth making a record of date, time and %age of sats. We have had some on nebulisers, around your level, but they aren't always enough. Low doses of morphine can really ease breathing, when needed. It's only a suppressor at higher levels, so you may be able to get something better to help you- as long as your GP has the full picture.
Best wishes x
I stopped smoking when Mr F was presribed oxygen at home. After a while I did use an e cig, but the nurse who came in assured me it was safe enough. say nurse, but she was actually a pulmonary rehab physio who came in weekly to clear his 'tubes',
In the early days there were cases of vape batteries exploding, bursting into flames.
They are safe now but the reputation lives on I guess.
But we have electric lamps, electric fire, gas cooker etc.
Blimey, we would have to dump the toaster :-(
Just jobsworths in my opinion.
I'm much better than I was. The new meds seem to help, bit additional practical!and family problems are proving difficult to cope with, but thankfully I remain being helped, and able to help others.
