Barmy Rules

Mrs A, in hospital, isn't allowed to have her iPad or mobile charging on the wall behind her overnight, so the nurses have to take the devices away for recharging.
And, inevitably, they've 'lost' her iPad...
They might well find it, but so annoying. Why such a daft rule about not having charging by the beds? Oxygen? Don't know, nor does anyone there...

Bloody hell, it'll be easier to buy a new one! I've never seen anything so complicated. Only seems to work if you've got an iPhone (we haven't, we've both got 2018 Samsung J3 androids).
Mrs A will keep her iPad close for the duration of her stay in hospital, and if the charger gets knicked, well, it's only 35 quid. Then when she's home (insh'allah) we'll sort all this out!

I suppose if I asked Mrs A to look at that link, Barry, and try and work her way through it, she might manage it. She is highly intelligent, although like many 70+ women, thinks technology is beyond her (it isn't).
On the other hand, she is ill. Not a slight cough or cold, but very ill. So I shall forget it for now, let her keep her iPad close to her, and as I say, if she gets the charging unit knicked, tough.
It's hard enough trying to do fiddly things on phones when they are on the desk in front of you. When they are five miles away, it's another level of forget it!
Thanks for your advice.
