Man who raped a 11 year old girl serves a 4 year sentence. Best part of it all is that he is 84 years old and had thought he got away with it. The low life even said to the police that he did it only the one time.

The most galling bit was his defence solicitor saying "Going to prison will have an extremely detrimental effect on his health" - !!! Er.....good..?!

When I first read this I thought 84 ! - how did he manage that !!! (half asleep)
I'm glad he didn't get away with it, unfortnately though, he'll probably be out after 18 months !

My daughter was 12 when this happened to her. The Judge accepted the defence lawyer saying the same thing,this man was 60. He got probation.

That's awful Oldwoman, very unjust. I didn't intend to sound flippant about the '84' bit., sorry if it came across like that. You must feel let down by the law, I hope your daughter was able to move on with her life. x

Four years - that is ridiculous. I don't care how old he is but he should not be out for at least 15 years. He even admitted to it. Screw the Ba$tard.
