What is your favorite yoga pose? I am curious if your favorite pose is one of the yoga poses considered the best. I came across several nice poses on the link: http://www.yoga.com/yoga-poses-asanas/. Any of them are your favorites?

Mine was child pose with arms extended to the front.
You are very fond of the Yoga.com site aren't you Brandon? You have mentioned it before I noticed. I should like to point out there are other excellent Yoga sites but I don't want to advertise (!) There's no such thing as a best pose. Most are beneficial depending on which area you want to work/stretch.
Most of my classes like savasana best because it's the 'corpse' or relaxation pose at the end!
Eve mentioned child pose with arms extended, often called 'swan' - very relaxing though many find difficulty in even getting into that due to knee stiffness.
He is fond of that site yogasun, that may be because he is paid to advertise it on various sites such as AB. He is what is known as a spammer and has probably never even practiced yoga in his (or her) life.
yogasun, may I ask you a question please? are there any particular poses that might help my (quite severe) lower back/pelvic/hip pain? I'm hypermobile, so general stretching does nothing for me.

thank you :o)
mine is just before he picks up the pic-a-nic basket
Sorry sara only just saw this as have been working.
What have you been diagnosed with actually?
hi yoga, and thanks.. all the docs have done is dished out painkillers. I've just had a batch of blood tests, and am awaiting a hospital appointment with the endocrinology dept. not sure if there's a connection or not.
Hi Sara
Keep me posted then I might be able to advise on exercises when you have
a conclusion. Would prefer not to till I know the cause.
fair enough.. I'll give you a shout if I ever get a diagnosis.

thank you :o)
My favourite is flat on my back, eyes shut and snoring!
FGT One of my students snores so loudly immediately I have to up the volume of the relaxation music!!

Thanks for the responses guys. Yogasun, I have to agree with you that there is not such thing as the best when it comes to yoga poses. I was actually referring to yoga with most benefits. Anyway, my favorite pose is Sarvaungasana.
