Some (only a few) answerers bang on and on, and are obviously competent touch-typists. Their answers are sometimes interesting, more often just words upon words.
Is it time for a restriction on the length of answers, to say 300 or 400 words? Or maybe something more sophisticated, like everyone getting 1000 words a month, and after that, they shut up!
It might make for better answers, at least more thought out and succinct.
// everything I say will be taken down and used as evidence//
no Mama pointed out to me in a strongly worded post
that it was NOT done to mine down in someones posts
and select the most hilariously stupid and hold it up for renewed ridicule
so I dont - I jst memorise them as they get churned out
Why would you think that, Rowan? What you've said is there for all to read anyway. Having said that, one member is in the habit of copying and pasting the whole of practically every post he responds to - and it always makes me laugh when the original is deleted and his copy remains.
It wasn't you it was aimed at Peter, I gave up trying to understand half of your posts ages ago, what I do understand is fine I just don't sweat the bits that go over my head.
I have to say since they tweaked my meds I am feeling very twitchy and argumentative, trying very hard not to bring it here.

That's because other posts can appear in the middle while a reply is being composed, leading to confusion.
C & P'ing saves the tedious job of having to go back and find the post that the response is addressed to, and it saves having to type "That was to ... " which you have to do on a regular basis.
"What you do Andy is section out your C&P and answer it bit by bit. It means we end up reading the same post twice! Tedious." Agreed ummmm, although possibly it's double-tedious...
