Although you can buy worming tablets in pet shops, they are not always effective. It is best to buy from a vet.

You will need to buy special tablets which you either grind down and mix with your kitten's food, or pop it into it's mouth and wait until it swallows it. It is much easier to mix it with food, but as we had 2 kittens, we didn't know who was getting the right dosage. In the end we had to put it in their mouths. Not very nice, but it got the job done. Tape worms can be very dangerous to animals, and must be treated properly. It can also spread quickly from one pet to another. Although the tablets you buy in pet shops are cheap, they're not effective. Some even have a certain chemical in them which can be harmful to kittens! The best ones are from the vet, and at least he/she will be able to give your pet the first dosage and answer any questions. Remember, you have to de-worm cats regularly. One dosage won't be enough to protect them forever!

Thank each and everyone for your help. I went to the vet this morning, i am a r.n. and he gave me shots to give to all of them . As i have known him for 6yrs. He gave me a big discount. Thank you arianna01
