Gin Glasses

Would it be really dreadful if I used brandy balloons for gin and tonic until I can afford proper gin glasses.
Can anyone recommend good ones.

Thank you very much, Buenchico, for the trouble you've gone to in order to answer my question. The photography was superb as far as I am concerned.
I'm not particularly fond of the rather 'squat' shape of some of the glasses, but I am convinced that the 'teardrop' shape, height and volume are just what we're looking for. Our order will be on its way ere the day be out!
