Whom I’ve never heard her use any kind of swear word ever , she rang me earlier and we chatted, she likes her Soaps so we talked about what she was watching during lockdown
“ oh I love Classic Corrie and Emmerdale but not that ‘ cockney chit’ ( EE)
I burst out laughing then she said
Oh, should I be careful what I say , you know people can listen in now to phone calls Haha ( no offence to Londoners here )
When you hear a person whom you've never heard swearing, the first time you hear it, it's hilarious!!
The first time I heard my mum swear (bloody) I was in knots.
Tiggs I wouldn't know the difference but like here there's so many accents , Sunderland is far removed from a Newcastle one and the Northumberland one is different again
Yep, indeed there are different variations of accents. I've noticed that with Paul O'Grady. The Wirral accent slightly differs from other Scouse. My ex's dad was from The Wirral and he spoke exactly like Paul O'Grady ;o)
