so travellers can travel and setup at will, when and wherever..but joe public gets fined or a telling off, double standards here, why is this allowed, it makes a mockery of so called lockdown.

TTT yeh dead easy that. Change the Law to what? Whatever it's changed to the Travellers will still ignore it, or appeal with one of their Gypsy lawyers.

APG, give the councils powers to a) confiscate their posh motors and other chattels in leu of expenses. b) move them on immediately, returning what was confiscated if not needed. In reality, once that gets round the councils will hardly ever need to use the powers anyway, they only do what they do because they know we have no legal powers to stop it and it takes at least a week to move them on. They'd then find "travelling" will have to be done legally like the rest of us.

Moving them along doesn't eliminate the problem though, it just leaves it formsome other poor fecker to deal with.

good theyre not trespassing on private fields for an address to collect DWPs. Or rent a stable for same. I return their mail 'not known'. Am black listed as they keep away ;)
