No drunken football idiots to worry about, pubs closed tonight so no city / town drunks, no vandalism from such, carpenters and glaziers businesses have levelled off has shops don't have to keep replacing shop fronts at their expense due to vandals, no litter in the streets from the Friday night binge, police cells empty this morning of drunks and druggies. Nice clean air, blue skies, birds singing, green healthy trees, and all the problems of the economy should blow over in a couple of weeks. :0)

But won’t that mean the return of the football idiots and drunks?
Unfortunately our neighbour is using lock down to do diy. Sounds like he's taken a lump hammer to his patio the last two hours.

we should make it an annual event

I know it won't happen, but if only McDonalds stayed close, it must be 15% of the their litter in the road after the Friday and Saturday night bash, half eaten burgers rotting on the paths, piles of their packaging rubbish in the middle of the road, every corner you turned. If only :0)
I'm guessing you must live in a really rough area.
Question Author
You guessed wrong, wherever you live the litter normally gets thrown from cars, late at night after visits to any takeaway. They wouldn't do it during the day because they would be seen.
