frankly I cannot see why anyone would want one anyway, it doesn't do anything you can't do simply anyway.



I have one connected to my hi-fi system...wouldn't do without it.

don't worry...put little tin foil hats on your Alexa devices and they won't be able to transmit info to the big blue lizard.

I have got my plugged in lights around the house on Alexa. Its very useful to be able to walk into the kitchen with your hands full and turn lights on, I also have a setting that turns plugged in lights on in every room in the house...useful if I had an intruder.

We have that too woof, as you say, very useful.
As far as I’m concerned it can listen to whatever conversation of ours it wants to but I feel it would soon get bored to death..

I like mine. Among other things I set up reminders of appointments and when to take tablets. No doubt there are other ways to do this, but IMO Alexa is the easiest.

I didn't buy it, it was given as a gift. I didn't expect to use it much, but I do.

as has been established they listen all the time. When i had my DV interview for work in the defence sector, the interviewer asked me to turn off all my Echos first in case the chinese were listening. I feel rather like Vagus. with the exception of that day, the Chinese are welcome to listen to my convos and i'm sure they would soon be bored to death a they mainly consist of "can you PLEASE take that plate out" "turn that down" and "when are you going to do your maths"
