I have an Ionic Shower head which I've had for 2 years but over the last few months I've noticed that the water pressure has become quite low. I unscrewed the various parts of the head but couldn't see any blockages or limescale. The pressure from the tap is fine.

I'm now thinking that its the hose that is the problem as that is much older. Is there anyway of cleaning this? Limescale cleaner? Or should I just get a new hose?

Not much help when shopping is difficult, but I think a new hose is called for.

I replaced one recently for a different reason (metal casing breaking up). I was amazed by the improvement in water flow.

If I measure the hose I can get one from Amazon.

You coukd probably remove the hose and immerse in vinegar for a few hours. But useful to have a spare anyway. Then you can eliminate it from the list of possible causes.
