I've just ironed a quilt cover, and it has a very steep curve in it, should I confine it to the airing cupboard for three months to try and flatten it out.

What’s the curve off? Do you mean a crease?
i suppose it's a stupid question but what is a 'very steep curve' in a quilt cover?

I think I will ramp up the heat, and test one area.

Well I've taken the science advice and increased the steam, but its not worked so its their fault, plus I burnt my finger, so what next?
