Want to watch part 3 of a series, and it asks for my PIN.
Didn’t get that with parts 1 and 2, and I don’t have a PIN set up.
Neither TV or SKY box are connected to the internet because I don’t want them to be, so can’t do anything using the help button on the remote.
Accessed my account on a PC, and it says it can’t find my viewing card.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Originally the pin was the last 4 numbers of your viewing card - so you could try that, unless you've had a change of card.

Thanks, barry, but that link is showing the 2 things I tried above.
The SKY site specifically says not to call them as they are “busy dealing with the vulnerable” but I suspect it’s the only way to get this sorted.
Looks like I’ll have to wait.
How can they tell who is vulnerable? Have you tried pushing the card in again?
Try 0000 or 1234. Sometimes if you've not set up a number these can be a factory set code.
You have a sky Q box bit its not connected to the internet? Weird.

“How can they tell who is vulnerable “
That’s exactly what I thought!
And are vulnerable people’s SKY boxes more vulnerable too?
Anyway, yes I’ve pulled and pushed the card, turned the box on and off, given it words of encouragement, and swore at it. I think I’ve tried everything.
No big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I would have liked to watch part 3. I’ve found another showing later in the week, so I’ll record that and see if it’s the same.
Thanks for your input.
Could it be asking for the PIN because you are trying to watch a show during the daytime when it is normally broadcast after the watershed? Might work this evening after 9pm

Tried 0000, but not 1234, Dagman. Will try later, thanks.
Why weird, Zacks Master? I had SKY installed before I moved in last year. My phone line and internet were not installed until a week later. I don’t really want or need my TV connected, and if I did it probably wouldn’t work well as I don’t have fibre.(Very rural).

Good thinking, barry!
Because you’re only using half it’s features.
Question Author
I don’t really need anything else.
At my previous address I had BT TV, and would have stuck with it, but because the internet isn’t fast enough (with any provider) I had to get SKY to get enough choice, and I’m not interested in movies or sport. Freeview seems a bit lame, and I get more channels for less money than when I was with SKY a few years ago.

Thank you for the suggestions.
Tuvok gets BA because that’s what worked.
Glad you got a solution
Remember to take a note of it for future reference. You do get new viewing cards from time to time, and it will have a different number.

Both of mine I've changed to something very simple - and voth the same!
